FROM YORKSHIRE · TO SCOTLAND · CAPTURING THE BEAUTY THAT I SEE
Here you will see a small selection of my landscape, natural world and moorland life photography that I have captured over the years. I've always had a passion for these areas of photography on the side and it is in fact the style I turn to when I need to harness my skills, take some time out or challenge myself to get more creative.
I love to explore shorelines, chase waterfalls and examine the world at different angles for my Landscape Photography. The North York Moors feature heavily as this is where I am lucky to be based however you will also find images from Harroagte, Knareborough, The Dales, Northumberland and The Isle Of Skye in this gallery too. A lot of my nature shots were taken in these locations too as by slowing down and looking at the floor you often find a lot of interesting things that you'd otherwise, quite literally, overlook.
I believe that in order to love a photograph you don't always have to have a personal connection to it. In fact my favourite print that I own is of a shipwreck captured on a foggy wintery morning and I couldn't even tell you where the location is. What I can tell you though is that the image grabbed me as soon as I saw it and I knew I needed it on my wall.
